Jerry is a City of Greater Geraldton Councillor and represents the region on the Board of the Mid West Sports Federation and as the chairperson of both the Mullewa and Greenough Bushfire Advisory Committees. Jerry has had a long association with administration of sporting clubs within Geraldton and currently holds the position of chair of the Wonthella Oval Management Committee. Jerry and his family run a mixed livestock and cropping enterprise at Bringo, to the east of Geraldton. Jerry was a Local Government appointment to the Board in 2022.
