Beverly Brosnan (nee Growden) has more than 25 years arts management and events experience having worked in WA, SA, ACT and NSW, primarily managing State and Federally funded not for profit, small-to-medium arts organisations producing work across a range of art forms (for example, Sydney Youth Orchestra, Barking Gecko Theatre Company, Canberra Glassworks). She has also managed programs and events in key roles at Perth Festival, Come Out Festival (now Dream Big), Centenary of Canberra (ACT Government) and at the National Gallery of Australia. She returned to WA in late 2020 to become Arts Development and Events Coordinator at City of Karratha and then moved to Geraldton in late 2022. Bev is a Senior Regional Development Officer with a focus on mining, energy, resources and METS sectors. She also supports creative industries development across the Mid West region, regularly sitting on funding panels (for the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and Regional Arts WA) and is facilitator of the Regional Development Commissions’ creative industries group.
