The Government of Western Australia delivered its 2023-24 State Budget address in Geraldton last week.

Deputy Premier Hon Roger Cook MLA outlined the budget highlights to over 100 attendees, while detailing measures such as funding for the Education Support centre at Waggrakine Primary School, upgrades at Geraldton Fishing Boat Harbour, and support for Geraldton Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation.

Hosted by the Commission, in collaboration with the Mid West Food Industries Alliance, the event delivered a breakfast featuring a host of local produce and gave attendees the opportunity to network with local business leaders, community organisations and other regional stakeholders, and stay up to date on the State Government's plans for supporting economic growth and development in the Mid West region.
