The Commission are excited to welcome Hon. Jackie Jarvis MLC, Minister for Agriculture and Food to open the Mid West WA Food Marketplace at Shore Leave Festival on Sunday, 30 April.

As a major partner to the Marketplace event, we think it’s fantastic to be able to profile our developing food and beverage industry to key stakeholders, creating an economic benefit for the Mid West region through recognition of the Mid West Food Industry Alliance brand.

The Mid West region has an increasing focus on regenerative agriculture, and alongside tastings of local produce and local food and beverage stallholders, the Marketplace will feature a display by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development that looks at ways to keep soil healthy, and how regenerative agriculture practices may increase the resilience of our food production.
